Repeating students

Regulations for continuous assessment of repeating students

  • A student who obtained at least the minimum continuous assessment (21 points or more) in the previous academic year may be granted the minimum continuous assessment (21 points) in the current academic year. The recognition of the assessment from the previous year is subject to the approval of the course guarantor. For this purpose, the student shall submit a formal request for recognition of the continuous assessment by email. In such a case, the student is not required to attend lectures, participate in lab seminars, or complete assignments. If, however, the student wishes to obtain a new continuous assessment, the course must be retaken under the conditions outlined in the following section.
  • A student who did not achieve the minimum continuous assessment (fewer than 21 points) in the previous academic year, or who wishes to obtain the assessment again, is required to retake the course in the current academic year. Attendance at lectures and lab seminars is not compulsory; however, the student must complete and submit all assignments within the prescribed deadlines. Repeating students are formally registered with Ing. Filip Gurbáľ, PhD..
