Reachability Analysis Module

The main purpose of this module is to provide an analysis of reachability of Petri Nets by decomposition and composition. This module also requires for its running the LES Solver. After starting the module a wizard appears. In first step the searched vector of marking of the analyzed Petri Net has to be set. Vector can be entered using a special control, or in text form. Partial results can be obtained without specifying the vector by marking the first option.

Second step of the wizard is setting the parameters of the Mw automaton. In this window the options are being set by checkboxes. The first option determines whether the making process of automaton should be visualized. The second option specifies whether the check of equivalence of roads should be made during creation of the Mw automaton. The third option provides a control during the formation of Mw automaton, if not generate such a state that is not omegalized and also covers the searched marking vector. Numeric field defines the maximum number of states of the created Mw automaton. The fourth option determines using of TJunc de/compositional approach, which has three settings:

  1. Distribution of the analyzed Petri net based on its structure.
  2. Distribution of the analyzed Petri net based on its initial marking.
  3. User defined decomposition.

The following window of the wizard could be:
1. Results window of the Mw automaton creation

2. Input window of user decomposition allows the user to choose the exact way in how the analyzed Petri net will be divided. For each place of Petri nets can be chosen a group to which should be included.

3. Decomposition results window, displays the various subnets of analyzed Petri net. You can also choose to add the subnet to project for each subnet.
