The simulation of Petri nets in PNTools2.1 is controlled by panel of simulation. The panel has 2 states, turned on and turned off.
After setting the simulation mode ad turning on, the panel switches and allows controlling the simulation. Using the button number one, the simulation restarts. Button number two preforms a one step forward action and button number three forwards the simulation 5 steps ahead.
You can control the simulation through the canvas, using the mouse. If the transition is colored by brown it means that it's been activated. If the transition lights up green it indicates that it's available for firing in the next step of the simulation.
